Professor Md. Monzur Hossain is a highly accomplished and respected scientist and educator. He is a Professor of Botany at the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh, and has been a leading figure in the field of plant physiology for many years. He is also a dedicated teacher and mentor, and has inspired countless students to pursue careers in science.
As one of the highlights of his research, he is one of the artisans behind the revival of one of the oldest and historical marvels of Bengal, Muslin cloth.
This great man with incredible humanitarian qualities was the founder head of a business organization named Akafuji Agrotechnology whose profits are used to run a humanitarian school named AloAsha, which works exclusively for the development of underprivileged children.
He is a true asset to the University of Rajshahi and to the country of Bangladesh.
